Mulled Cran-Cider

Ingredients

2 cups all-natural cranberry juice
1 inch of fresh gingerroot, peeled
A long curl of orange peel
1 cinnamon stick
2 whole cloves
1 quart apple cider, the cloudy kind
1 cup whole cranberries, for garnish (optional)

Preparation

  1. Steep the juice, ginger, orange peel, cinnamon, cloves, and cider and keep warm in a pot over low heat. Strain the cider as you serve and garnish with a few cranberries if desired.
